How Satisfied are You With Your Career?
Think about it, we spend 90,000 hours over our lifetimes working. And that’s just working. The amount of time inches up when you include all the time spent getting ready for work, travelling to and from work, thinking about work or stressing about some work-related issue. I am a firm believer that our work should be a satisfying experience given how much of our lives are devoted to it.
Given that most of us choose a career when we are quite young (when our personalities aren’t fully formed yet and preferences aren’t completely known). Or we are pressured to choose a path by our parents or other influential family members. Most of us aren’t even aware of all of the possibilities that exist when it comes to the myriad of different careers that may be available to us.
We all want to be sure that we have chosen well, and we are on the right path. Even further, we want to be satisfied with our work, no matter which career we have chosen.
This assessment will let you know how satisfied you are with your current career path, whether you may be tolerating something that is not right for you, and if it may be time for a change.
